Update #4: Maintenance Complete
Update #3:
Servers in our North American location will be restarted at 11am GMT on December 11, which will complete our maintenance. There will be less than 5 minutes of downtime while the restart is in progress.
Update #2:
The maintenance period has been extended again - maintenance will continue through the rest of the day and may last until December 10th at 6am GMT. All services currently remain unafffected, however the planned updates will not become available until the completion of the maintenance.
Update #1:
The maintenance period has been extended - we're now expecting this to take an additional 10 hours, on top of the original 6 hours planned.

On December 8th 2016 at 11pm GMT, we will be conducting maintenance on all Minecraft services. The maintenance is estimated to last up to 6 hours, however extensions to the maintenance period are possible. This maintenance will have a minimal effect on running servers. During this period, every server will remain online, however will be restarted once during this time - so we expect a maximum downtime of roughly 5 minutes per server.

Listed below are some changes that are planned to be made during this maintenance:
  • Ability to pick your Java version (switch between Java 7 and 8 at any time, without your IP changing).
  • Implementing foundations for Minecraft PE (in the near future, we'd like to offer Minecraft PE servers as well!).
  • 2-Factor Authentication (Google Authenticator) support on the Multicraft control panel.
  • Fixed one-click plugin installer, as well as support added for one-click installation of Spigot plugins.
  • Several new control panel web servers (will resolve the 503 error that appeared occasionally over the past few days, as well as improve the speed of the panel).
  • Some more minor fixes/improvements.
