This guide explains how to change the name of your Oblivion MP server. Your server name is what players see in the ReadyM Launcher server list, making it important for identification and visibility.

You can update this by editing the Server Name option in the Settings section of your panel. The steps below will walk you through applying this change so it appears in the server list.

#Changing your Server Name

To give your Oblivion MP server a custom name, follow these steps:

  1. Access your Control Panel and navigate to the Settings tab.
  2. Open the OblivionMP Server Settings and locate the Server List Settings section.
  3. Set your desired name in the Server Name field. Server names can be up to 50 characters long.
  4. Save and restart your server to ensure the new changes apply.

Important

If your server name is longer than 50 characters, your server will not appear in the server list. Make sure Show in Server List is also enabled so players can find your server.

#Customizing your Server Listing

The same Server List Settings section has a few more options that change how your server appears in the ReadyM Launcher.

  • Gamemode sets the short tag shown next to your server name, such as Co-op or Roleplay.
  • Description is shown on your server card and can be up to 300 characters long.
  • Country shows a country flag next to your server.

Save and restart your server after changing any of these options.
