
How to Kick or Ban Players on Your 7 Days to Die Server

To keep your 7 Days to Die server running smoothly, you may need to remove disruptive players or enforce rules by kicking or banning them.

#Kicking or Banning Players on Your 7 Days to Die Server
Admins can kick or ban players directly through the in-game console using specific commands.
The in-game console can be opened by pressing F1 on your keyboard.
#Kick and Ban Commands

| kickall [message] | Kicks all players from the server with the specified message. Example: kickall Server restarting for maintenance |
| ban add [steam id/player name/entity id] [duration + unit] [message] | Bans a player for the specified duration with an optional message. Example: ban add 76561198012345678 2 hours Griefing Available units: minute, hour, day, week, month, year |
| ban remove [steam id/player name/entity id] | Removes a player’s ban, allowing them to rejoin the server. Example: ban remove 76561198012345678 |
| ban list | Lists all currently banned players. Example: ban list |
#Additional Tips
- Bans are stored in the server’s
serveradmin.xmlfile and persist between restarts. - For temporary removals or warnings, use the
kickcommand instead.
