#What is the Ascendency Minecraft Modpack?
Ascendency is a large-scale Minecraft modpack built around exploration, progression, and player freedom. It combines hundreds of mods with custom datapacks and resourcepacks. The pack also includes a fully hand-drawn, in-depth boss log to guide you through your adventure without ever needing a wiki.
Unlike modpacks that lock content behind strict progression, Ascendency lets you play however you want, from low% challenge runs to peaceful gardening. The pack is the Shivrs' first large-scale release, so feedback on any issues is always welcome via the modpack page or the Shivrs' Ascendancy Discord.

#Ascendency Modpack FAQs
#Is Ascendency a mod or a modpack?
Ascendency is a full modpack, not a single mod. It combines hundreds of mods with custom datapacks, resourcepacks, balance changes, and original hand-drawn content into one complete experience.
#Do I need to follow a specific progression order?
No. Ascendency doesn't lock anything behind progression. Play how you want, tackle bosses out of order, build machines with Create, explore on a biplane, or just tend a garden. The choice is yours.
#Can I play Ascendency with friends?
Yes. Optional client-side mods are designed so you can toggle them without breaking pack compatibility, meaning you and your friends can each customise your own client experience independently.
#I found a bug, what should I do?
Report it on the modpack page, the Shivr's Ascendancy Discord, or via the creator's Twitter. As the creator's first large-scale modpack, early releases may have some issues. All feedback is actively used to push fixes and updates.
#What are the optional mods and how do I enable them?
All optional mods come pre-installed and are disabled by default. Enable them with a single click in the mod menu. Examples include Distant Horizons, Custom Player Models, and a reworked third-person camera.
