How to Add Mobs to a Minecraft Bedrock Server
Mojang's official Vanilla Minecraft server software for Bedrock Edition, known as Bedrock Dedicated Servers, inherently supports mobs. However, mob spawning features are not currently available in PocketMine-MP and NukkitX. To enable mobs on these server types, it's necessary to install a plugin.
#Add Mobs to a PocketMine-MP Server
You will be required to install PureEntitiesX on your PocketMine-MP server.
-
Download the PureEntitiesX plugin by clicking on the Direct Download button found on the PureEntitiesX page.
-
Access your Control Panel and Shut Down your server.
-
Click Files, and open the Plugins folder.
-
Click Upload File(s), and upload
PureEntitiesX.phar. -
Start your server.
#Add Mobs to a NukkitX Server
You will be required to install MobPlugin on your NukkitX server.
-
Download the MobPlugin plugin by clicking on the Download Now button found on the MobPlugin page.
-
Continue with the above section "Add Mobs to a PocketMine-MP Server", steps 2-7.
When the plugins are successfully installed, mobs should be able to spawn in your PocketMine-MP or NukkitX server.
