Managing saves on your RimWorld Together server allows you to start fresh colonies or remove saves that are no longer needed. This can be helpful when testing new mods, fixing corrupted worlds, or beginning a new multiplayer session with your group.

#Create a new save

Creating a new save generates a fresh world for a new colony while automatically backing up the previous save. This gives you a clean starting point without losing the old world.

  1. Access your control panel.

  2. Start your server.

  3. Navigate to the Console tab.

  4. Run the following command:

resetworld

  1. When prompted, type:

YES

After confirming, the server will restart, create a backup of the previous world, and then generate a new save.

#Delete an existing save

You can remove saves directly from within the game if they are no longer needed.

  1. Join your RimWorld Together server.

  2. Press ESC to open the menu.

  3. Click Delete Save.

  4. Select the save you want to remove.

  5. Click Confirm.

Once deleted, the save will no longer be available on the server.
