How to Add a Password to Your Hytale Server

Adding a server password is a simple way to keep your Hytale server private and make sure only invited players can join the fun.

#Setting a Server Password

You can set or change your Hytale server password directly from the configuration panel.

1. Access your Control Panel.
2. Stop your server before making any changes.
3. Navigate to the Config tab.
4. Locate the setting labeled Server Password.
5. Enter the password you want players to use when joining.
6. Save the changes, then start your server.

Once the server is back online, players will be prompted to enter the password when connecting.
