How to Configure Your Trackmania Server Settings

Customising your Trackmania server is where the fun really starts! Whether you’d like to make your races private, adjust voting options, or set how many players can join, every detail can be tailored to suit your community. All of these settings are found in your trackmania.json file, accessible from the Config tab. --- Configuring Your Trackmania Server Settings 1. Access your Control Panel. 2. Go to the Config tab. See below for what each setting does and how you can use it. --- Server Details - name Sets the name of your server as it appears in-game. Great for tournaments or streamers who want to observe the action. - keepplayerslots When set to , players who switch to spectator mode keep their spot in the player list. --- Gameplay Options - matchsettings Points to the match settings file being used (for example, ). Trackmania dedicated servers let you and your friends race and compete on your own custom tracks. You can connect through your in-game Club, which makes accessing and managing your server simple. Dedicated servers work with the Trackmania Club system, allowing you to create and join rooms directly linked to your server. Log in to your Shockbyte Control Panel and start your Trackmania server. 2. Launch Trackmania from your Ubisoft Connect or Steam library. 3. Open the Clubs menu from the main screen. 4. Create a new Club or select one that you already own. 5. Go to the Administration menu. 6. Click the Plus (+) icon to add a new Club Activity. 7. Choose Room as the activity type and select Use Dedicated Server. 8. Enter a Room Name and pick the Server Account linked to your dedicated server. 9. Press Create to set up the room. 10. You and your friends can now join directly through the Club Room menu.
