How To Use The Server Lockdown Quick Action On Your Minecraft Server

Sometimes when running a Minecraft server emergencies can happen. Whether this be a hacker that has gained access to your server, or a an unauthorized griefer, we know how much of a headache a server emergency can be. With our Shockbyte Panel, we have created the Server Lockdown quick action for you to use in emergencies, which kicks all online players and whitelists your server in one quick - allowing server owners to respond to an incident quickly and affectively. --- How to Use the Server Lockdown Feature 1. Navigate to the Shockbyte Panel and open up your server. 2. Navigate to the Tasks tab on the left menu. 3. Click Run next to the Server Lockdown task. When running the Quick Action, your server will immediately kick all online players, and a whitelist will be enabled to ensure only authorized players can rejoin. If you need to access your server during the lockdown, you will need to add yourself to the whitelist with the command in the server console. --- How to Pin a Quick Action 1. Navigate to the Tasks tab on the left menu. 2. Find the Quick Action you wish to pin, and click on the three-dot menu. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will use the Server Lockdown task. 3. Click on Pin to server overview. After pinning the task, it will be available from your server's main page as pictured.

The Shockbyte Panel has a plethora of different quick actions for server owners to use and customise, enhancing and improving the quality of life on your Minecraft server. --- Using the Kill All Entities Quick Action You can use the Kill All Entities quick action to automatically remove all entities excluding players from your server at once. This can be a great way to purge entities for lag reasons, or it can also be used as a tool for mapmakers or builders. 1. Open your server's control panel 2. Click the Tasks tab on the left-hand sidebar 3. Click Default Tasks, then locate the Kill All Entities task 4. Click the Run button, or click the Configure button to begin setting up a run schedule 5. Give your task a name for identification, then click Save 6. Click Your Tasks, then click the clock icon next to your new task to setup a schedule 7. Confirm the Quick Action's arguments, then click Next Step 8. Enable the Set Interval checkbox, then choose how often your task should run 9. Make sure the schedule is set to On, then click Schedule

How To Use The Download File Quick Action On Your Minecraft Server

The Shockbyte Panel has a plethora of different quick actions for server owners to use and customise, enhancing and improving the quality of life on your Minecraft server. --- Configuring the Download From URL Quick Action You can use the Download File quick action to automatically download a plugin or world for your server without needing to download/upload it yourself. This can save you tons of time, especially when installing large world data. 1. Open your server's control panel 2. Click the Tasks tab on the left-hand sidebar 3. Locate the Download From URL task, then click Configure 4. Give your task a name and enter your desired download URL in the field. 5. Set your desired file path (folder and file name) in the path field, then click Save Running your New Download From URL Task After configuring your new quick action, you can either manually run it or configure an interval for it to be ran automatically. 1. On your Tasks page, click the Your Tasks tab to view your new Quick Action 2. Click the Run button to manually activate your task 3. To set up a run interval, click the clock icon on your desired task 4. Confirm your task has your desired arguments, then click Next Step 5. Give your new schedule a name, then choose the date and time it should run for the first time 6. Enable the Set Interval checkbox, then choose how often your task should run 7. Make sure the schedule is set to On, then click Schedule

How To Pin Quick Actions On Your Server

With our Shockbyte Panel, users have access to Quick Actions - which are handy little actions you can perform at any time on your server. These are usually accessed by navigating to the Tasks tab on the panel, however if you would like quicker access you can pin any Quick Action to your server overview. --- How to Pin a Quick Action 1. Navigate to the Quick Tasks tab on the left menu. 2. Find the Quick Action you wish to pin, and click on the three-dot icon beside Run. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will use the Server Lockdown task. 3. Click Pin to server overview. After pinning the task, it will be available from your server's main page under the Server Information section. That's it! You have successfully pinned a quick action to your server overview page.
