How to Change Gamemode, Map, and Rotation on Your Renown Server

Changing the gamemode, map, or setting up a rotation on your Renown server allows you to tailor your gameplay experience. Whether you prefer Free-for-All battles, Survival challenges, or Team Deathmatches, you can easily adjust these settings from your control panel.

#Changing the Gamemode or Map

You can change the current map and gamemode directly from the configuration panel.

1. Access your control panel.
2. Stop your server before making any changes.
3. Navigate to the Config tab.
4. Open the Renown Server Settings section.
5. Locate the setting labeled Server Map Rotation.
6. Select the map and gamemode you wish to play from the dropdown menu.
7. Click Save, then Start your server to apply the changes.

Your Renown server will now load with the selected map and gamemode.

#Setting Up a Map Rotation

If you want your server to cycle through multiple maps and gamemodes automatically, you can easily create a rotation list.

1. Access your control panel.
2. Stop your server before making any changes.
3. Navigate to the Config tab.
4. Open the Renown Server Settings section.
5. Under Server Map Rotation, click Add + to include more maps and gamemodes in the rotation list.
6. (Optional) Enable Use First Map to ensure the server always starts with the first map in your rotation.
7. Click Save, then Start your server to apply the changes.

Your server will now automatically cycle through your selected maps and gamemodes in the order listed.
