How to Install any Fabric Modpack on a Minecraft Server

Some modded Minecraft server owners may wish to install a custom Fabric modpack that is unavailable for automatic installation using Shockbyte's automatic modpack installer. If you were unable to find your desired modpack on our automatic modpack installer, please request official support for the modpack by submitting a ticket. Luckily, it is still a relatively quick and painless process to set up an unsupported modpack on your server. --- Downloading a Server Pack Before you can install a Fabric modpack on your server, you will need to download its server pack. In this example, we will be downloading our modpack from CurseForge. 1. Install the CurseForge launcher 2. Click Minecraft in the sidebar, then select Browse to look for your desired modpack 3. Select the modpack you wish to use, then click the Download Server Pack icon Installing a Fabric Modpack After downloading your desired Fabric modpack server files, you will need to install the proper version of Fabric on your server, then upload the server files. 1. Create a new server instance using your modpack's version of Fabric 2. Connect to your server using an FTP client. We recommend using FileZilla 3. Stop your server if it is currently running. 4. How to Install and Use WorldEdit on a Minecraft Server

WorldEdit is an advanced Minecraft map editor which allows you to fully control and manipulate your Minecraft server’s world. Click the download button next to the latest available version Navigate to the WorldEdit files page on Bukkit to download the latest version of the plugin. Here are some examples of some commonly used WorldEdit region manipulation commands: - Allows you to set your region to a specific block or a pattern of multiple different blocks/entities. EssentialsX is the most popular plugin for Spigot/Bukkit that offers hundreds of new in-game commands that you can use to add new features such as economies, kits, warps, and so much more! Download your desired version of EssentialsX Core Navigate to the EssentialsX downloads page and download your desired version of EssentialsX Core. If you are unsure of what version to use, we recommend using the latest development build for the most up-to-date features. 2. Access your server's control panel and navigate to the Files tab. 3. Select the plugins folder to open it 4. Upload the EssentialsX Core jar file you downloaded 5. Start or restart your server if it is already running --- Configuring EssentialsX on a Server EssentialsX starts running on your server right away, and all of its features should be immediately available. For the majority of users, it is OK to leave the settings as their default values. However, EssentialsX is extremely configurable and you can adjust nearly every setting to your liking. You can follow the steps listed below to access your EssentialsX configuration file. Luckily, the config file is very well documented, so most questions you may have related to each option is usually answered in the notes. Here are a few common features, commands, and add-ons to EssentialsX that might help get you started: Features EssentialsX offers a wide variety of features that can significantly alter your gameplay experience! Here are just a few: Moderation tools - kick, mute, jail, or temporarily ban players Warps - allow players or admins to teleport to predefined locations TPA - allows players to request to teleport to one another using commands Kits - allow players to claim predefined equipment and inventory items Economy - currency, sign-shops, and commands costs Player nicknames Commands EssentialsX comes with over 100 new commands, but there are a handful of common commands that will help you make the most of your gameplay experience. How to Import a World using Multiverse-Core

Multiverse-Core is an all-in-one world management plugin for servers. Aside from generating new worlds, running and managing multiple active worlds, controlling access to these worlds and other things, Multiverse-Core also allows you to easily import existing / custom worlds into your server so that you can load and access these alongside your server's default world. Before importing a world, you must have Multiverse-Core installed on your server. You may directly download the plugin from its official page: Multiverse-Core. Access your control panel and navigate to your server files. 2. Select Upload Folder to upload your world save. 3. Upload your desired world. 4. Navigate to your server console, and enter the command . {world name} is the exact name of the folder you uploaded; from our example, that would be "Multiverse-Core". {environment type} is the type of world that's being uploaded; if a regular overworld, this would be "normal". How to Generate Additional Ports for Plugins

Some plugins, mods, and server tools (e.g. RCON) require their own port to run on. Any 4-digit port between 1024 and 9999 can be used for these. However, there are times when you pick a port that's already in use by another server. This can become inconvenient since you have to reconfigure to use a different port. --- How to Generate Additional Ports You can easily skip the tedious task of selecting a port that may already be in use through the Additional Ports feature on our control panel. 1. Login to the Control Panel. 2. On the left, head to the Ports page. 3. In the Additional Ports section, click on Add Additional Port. 4. Fill in a Name, Description, and then click Add Port. That's it! The newly generated port is now ready for you to use in your plugins, mods, or anything else.

How to Create / Import and Export MultiMC Modpacks

MultiMC allows you to create as many modpack instances as you would like on any modloader or Minecraft version. Following these steps will help you create a new instance in MultiMC. --- How to Create a Custom MultiMC Instance 1. Open the MultiMC application. 2. On the top left section of the window, click Add Instance. 3. Give the modpack a name and select the version you would like to install mods for, then press OK. 4. Select the newly-created instance and press Edit Instance. 5. Install the modloader of your choice by pressing the Install Forge or Install Fabric button. 6. To install mods, press the Open .minecraft button in order to find your /mods folder. 7. Move any mod you’d like for your modpack to the mods folder. You can find Minecraft mods on websites such as CurseForge. 8. Launch the modpack and enjoy! --- How to Export any MultiMC Modpack You may want to share the newly-created modpack with your friends. 1. Select the modpack. 2. Press the Export Instance button. 3. How to Create Holograms with DecentHolograms on your Minecraft Server

Holograms/floating text have become one of the most popular ways to mark locations, give players direction, or provide information boards on many Spigot/Bukkit Minecraft servers. Although there are a few different options to choose from when it comes to picking a plugin that provides hologram support, the most popular and most compatible plugin is DecentHolograms. Thanks to DecentHolograms, server owners can easily create any number of holograms with the use of a few commands. --- Installing DecentHolograms Before you can install the DecentHolograms plugin, make sure your server is running a server type that supports Bukkit plugins. Spigot, Bukkit, and Paper are examples of server types which support plugins. 1. Download the Decent Holograms plugin. You can find the plugin's SpigotMC page by clicking here. 2. Access your Control Panel and Shut Down your server. 3. Navigate to the Files Tab. 4. Open the plugins folder. 5. Upload the DecentHolograms jarfile that you downloaded in Step 1. 6. Start your server. --- Creating your First Hologram There are plenty of variations in holograms that can be created. For this example, we make a simple text-based hologram. We highly recommend you visit the DecentHolograms wiki for more information regarding the types of holograms that you can create. After the DecentHolograms plugin loads on the server, you will be able to use in-game commands to create holograms if you have the required permissions or are an opped player. 1. In-game, position yourself where you'd like to create the hologram, then type /dh create (name). 2. Enter "/dh line help" to see how you can edit your new hologram. 3. Enter the command "/dh line set (name) (page) (line) (text)" to override a specific line of text on your new hologram. 4. To add another line, you can type "/dh line add (name) (page) (text)". --- Configuring DecentHolograms If you would like to change common settings like the space between text lines, you can do so in the config.yml file.
