How to Install Behavior Packs on your Minecraft Server

The Behaviour pack (Add-On) system is a feature for Minecraft Bedrock Edition that allows you to customize the experience of your Minecraft server. They are used to add or override existing advancements, structures, recipes, and more. If you are using Java edition, please refer to our guide on Installing Data Packs on your Minecraft Server. --- Installing a Behaviour Pack to your Client Behaviour packs can be installed on your Minecraft Bedrock client by running the downloaded files on your PC. 1. Download the behaviour pack you'd like to use. It should be a file with a or extension. 2. Double-click on the downloaded file to install the pack on the game. Installing a pack directly into the World The quickest and easiest way to get your pack working on the server is to create the world you intend to use in single-player and then import it onto your server. 1. Open up Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. 2. Select Play, and create a New World. 3. Locate your Add-ons menu. Click on Resource Packs and Behaviour Packs and select your chosen addons. 4. How to Install Addons on Existing Minecraft Bedrock Worlds

Some server owners may wish to install new add-ons to their existing world on their Bedrock server. Although this is possible, it requires a few more steps than creating a new world with add-ons. --- Downloading your Bedrock World You can download your server's world from the sFTP access, located on your server's control panel. 1. Access your Control Panel and Shut Down your server. 2. Navigate to your Files tab. 3. Open the folder. 4. Click the three dots on your world folder, then click Download Folder Installing Addons on your World To install addons onto the Bedrock world you just downloaded from your server, you will first need to install it onto your singleplayer client. Then you can edit and install addons onto the world file in-game. After installing addons in singleplayer, you can then upload the world back to your server to use it again. 1. Press to open the Windows Run program 2. Paste the string into the Run window and then click OK. Entering this directory path using Windows Run should automatically open your Minecraft Bedrock worlds directory. If, for whatever reason, this doesn't work in your case, feel free to browse YouTube or Google for steps on locating your Bedrock worlds directory. 3. Open the unzipped folder, then move the world folder to your local worlds directory. Make sure the world folder you move is not layered. For example, make sure you are just uploading a folder named , not . 4. Launch Minecraft Windows Edition, navigate to your singleplayer worlds, then click the edit button next to your newly added world. 5. Click the Behaviour Packs or Resource Packs button, depending on what you'd like to add to the world. 6. Find the addon you'd like to install, then click the Activate button under it. --- Uploading the Modified World After you've finished installing your desired addons on the world in singleplayer, you will need to upload them back onto your server. Make sure your server is still offline while doing these steps! 1. Access your server's Control Panel and navigate to the Files tab. 2. Locate and open the folder. 3. Rename the unmodified world folder on your server. 4. Upload the modified version of your server's world folder. 5. Start your server. Once your server finishes starting, your modified bedrock world with addons should be fully loaded and ready to play!

If not, then your server won't allow you to join, and you'll get an error message that looks like the following: How To Update Your System Time In order to resolve this, you just need to ensure that the date/time on your device is the same as on your server. --- PC (Windows 11) You can adjust your System Time on Windows 11 by editing the date and time. 1. In the bottom right of your taskbar, right-click the date/time and then select the Adjust date and time. 2. Ensure that the options Set the time automatically and Set the time zone automatically are turned on. In the event that the time zone is wrong, you can disable this and select to change it to your current time zone. 3. Press Sync Now, under Synchronise your clock. How to Fix Plugins Directory Wont Generate Error on Your Minecraft Bedrock Server

If the plugins directory won't generate, it can mean plugins either won't be loaded or could prevent the server from starting entirely. This error is quite rare, as it typically requires a very uncommon user error to occur. This usually occurs if a regular file has been created named "plugins", meaning rather than existing as a directory (a folder), it already exists as a text file of the same name. To solve this issue, you would just need to delete the file named "plugins" so that it can be regenerated as a directory. --- Example Server Log How to Delete the Plugin File 1. Access your Control Panel and Shut Down your server. 2. Navigate to your server files. 3. Select the file and click Delete. 4. Start or restart your server if it is already running That's it! Once your server boots up, it will regenerate the plugins folder as expected.

How to Enable Experimental Gameplay on Minecraft Bedrock

Experimental Gameplay is a game option in Minecraft Bedrock Edition that allows the testing of new, unfinished, or work-in-progress features that could later end up being part of the core Minecraft experience. How to Enable Cheats on your Minecraft Bedrock Server

When playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition, there are a handful of different game modes you can choose from, including Creative and Survival. In Bedrock, in order to change your gamemode to creative in a survival world, you will need to enable cheats.
