
How to Add an Admin to Your Renown Server
Becoming an administrator on your Renown server allows you to manage gameplay, moderate players, and adjust important settings. As an admin, you’ll gain access to powerful tools like command controls, creative options, and server moderation utilities to help maintain your community.
#Obtaining Your Admin Password
You can view or change your Renown server’s admin password directly from your control panel.
- Access your control panel.
- Stop your server before making any changes.
- Navigate to the Config tab.
- Open the Renown Server Settings section.
- Locate the setting labeled Admin Password.
- You can either:
- Copy the randomly generated password, or
- Replace it with your own preferred password.
- Click Save, then Start your server to apply the changes.
Once restarted, your admin password will be active and ready to use in-game.
#Logging in as Admin In-Game
After obtaining your admin password, you can log in as an administrator within Renown.
- Launch Renown.
- From the main menu, select Settings.
- Go to the Gameplay tab.
- Enable Show Admin Settings.
- Join your Renown server.
- Press Esc to open the in-game menu.
- Select Administration.
- Enter your Admin Password and press Enter.
- Press Esc twice to close and reopen the menu.
- Return to Administration.
You now have access to all administrative tools and can manage your server directly from within the game.
