How to Change the Server Name and Description of your V Rising Server

A server name is used to help you identify your server via the in-game server list. A server description is a great way to explain to players the gameplay that your server provides.

#Setting your Server Name & Description

In order to connect to your server using the in-game server list, you will need to know your server name. This can be found and configured via your vrising.properties file.

1. Access your Control Panel and Stop your server.

2. Navigate to the Config tab, select the Server Host Settings.

3. Locate the Server Name and Server Description options and enter in your desired name and description for your server.

4. Save and restart your server to ensure the changes apply.
