How to Install DarkRP to your Garry's Mod Server

#Downloading DarkRP

Firstly you'll want to download the official DarkRP files from GitHub which will be placed on your server. You can do this by following these steps:

1. Navigate to DarkRP's GitHub page.

2. Click the green Code button, then Download ZIP.

3. Extract the files into a directory called darkrp to a familiar location like your Desktop.

4. Access your Control Panel and Stop your server.

5. Navigate to the Files tab and locate the /garrysmod/gamemodes directory.

6. Upload the darkrp folder from your Desktop from earlier to the /garrysmod/gamemodes/ directory.

7. Save and restart your server to ensure the changes apply.

#Setting the Game Mode in Configs

1. Access your Control Panel and Stop your server.

2. Navigate to the Config tab and select the Garry's Mod Server Settings file.

3. Locate the Game Mode setting and set the game mode to darkrp.
