How to Join your Insurgency Sandstorm Server

This guide explains how to join your Insurgency: Sandstorm server. Once your server has been configured, you’re ready to connect and start playing.

We recommend joining through the in-game server browser, where you can search for and connect to your server directly. You can also connect manually using your server’s IP address. The steps below will walk you through both methods.

#Locating your Server's IP

Before launching the game, make sure you have your server connection details ready.

To find the IP address of your server, you will need to log in to your control panel. Once you’ve logged into your control panel, copy your server IP and port.

#Connecting via Direct Connect

To connect to your server directly, you can connect using your server address in-game.

1. Launch Insurgency: Sandstorm.

2. Click Play.

3. Click Community Servers.

4. Click Connect To IP.

5. Enter your Server Address and click OK.

6. Enter your Server Password if your server uses one; Click OK.

#Joining Using the Server Browser

To join using the in-game community server browser, you will need to search for your server name in-game.

1. Launch Insurgency: Sandstorm.

2. Click Play.

3. Click Community Servers.

4. Ensure your search filters match your server's details.

5. Enter Server Name using the top-left search bar.

6. Select your server and click Join. You can also click the ribbon button to add your server as a favourite.
