How to Restrict Players to First Person on Your Renown Server

Forcing first-person mode on your Renown server is a great way to enhance immersion and realism. This setting restricts players from switching to third-person view, making combat and exploration feel more grounded (especially popular for survival, dueling, and competitive servers)

#Forcing First Person Mode

You can enable first-person only mode directly from your control panel.

1. Access your control panel.
2. Stop your server before making any changes.
3. Navigate to the Config tab.
4. Open the Renown Engine Settings section.
5. Locate the setting labeled First Person Only.
6. Set this option to "Yes" to force all players into first-person mode.
   • "No" allows both first and third-person views.
7. Click Save, then Start your server to apply the changes.

Once restarted, all players on your Renown server will be locked to first-person view.
