Regular Factorio servers require all users connecting to have a valid Factorio.com account. If you want your server to support logging in without an account, you can set your server to offline mode.

#Configuring Offline Mode

To enable Offline mode you should disable require user verification and public server visible in your server-settings.json file.

  1. Access your Control Panel and Stop your server.

  2. Navigate to the Config tab and select the Factorio Server Settings file.

  3. Locate and disable the Require User Verification setting.

  4. Locate the Visibility area and disable the Public setting.

  5. Save and restart your server to ensure the changes apply.
