How to Adjust the Difficulty on your Windrose Server

You can modify this setting through the world settings file located in the Config section of your panel. The steps below will walk you through updating the difficulty to suit your preferred playstyle.

#Adjusting the World Preset Type

If you would like to adjust the overall difficulty of your world, we would adjust the World Preset Type option in the Config area of the panel.

1. Access your Control Panel and navigate to the Config tab.
2. Select the World Settings file.
3. Locate the World Preset Type option and select the dropdown to set your desired difficulty.

#Adjusting the Difficulty Options Setting

Alternatively, you can also adjust the Difficulty Options setting in the World Settings file in the Config. You can also adjust the individual settings, such as the Ships Health and Ships Damage modifiers, but this will automatically set the World Preset Type setting to Custom.

1. In the same config area, locate the Difficulty Options dropdown and select your desired difficulty.

2. Save and restart your server to ensure the new changes apply.
