How to Launch SMAPI Using Steam for Stardew Valley

To play Stardew Valley with mods, you are required to boot SMAPI with either Steam, Xbox App, or GOG Galaxy.

#Launching SMAPI with Steam

You can do this with Steam by changing the launch options.

1. Complete the SMAPI installation.
2. Copy the Steam Launch Options in the installer.
3. Open the Steam client.
4. Locate Stardew Valley, right-click it and open Properties.
5. Navigate to the General tab.
6. Locate Launch Options, and paste the file location you previously copied.
