How to Link a Custom Domain to Dynmap

Having your own custom domain linked to Dynmap allows you to hide your IP address, whilst having a direct link to your Dynmap can be much easier for players to access. --- Linking Dynmap with Namecheap You can link Dynmap to Namecheap by setting up a URL redirect record. You must have an active domain to do this. 1. Access Namecheap and navigate to Account Domain List. 2. Locate the domain you wish to use, and click Manage. 3. Select Advanced DNS. 4. Under Host Records, click Add New Record. 5. Enter the following details based on the heading: - Type = URL Redirect Record - Host = - Value = Enter your Dynmap URL, e.g. http://123.45.67.89:1234 - Set to Unmasked. 6. Click Save All Changes. 7. If you would like to join a Minecraft PC / Java Edition server, there are a few things to consider: The server must be running any Minecraft PC / Java Edition server type. You must have Minecraft installed on your computer. You may download the installer from Minecraft's official site. Your Minecraft client must be the same version that the server runs on. You can find the version in the bottom-left corner of your Minecraft client. --- How to Identify your Server Address (IP & Port) To get started, you need to identify the address of the server you want to join. If you own a Shockbyte server, you can find your server address on your server panel. This will be labelled as "IP Address". --- Connecting to a Java Server Now that you have the server address, you're ready to join the server. 1. Launch Minecraft, then click the Multiplayer button 2. Click the Add Server button 3. Enter your desired name for the server, then add the IP into the server address box 4. How to Install ViveCraft for Virtual Reality Minecraft on your Minecraft Client

ViveCraft is a mod that turns Minecraft into an exceptional VR experience in room-scale or seated play. Currently, ViveCraft is available for Minecraft Java Edition only. ViveCraft has both a Spigot plugin version and a Forge mod version, so if your server is modded or vanilla-like, you can use ViveCraft on your server! --- Installing ViveCraft on your Client To use ViveCraft features on a Minecraft server, you must first have ViveCraft installed on your game client. 1. Run the version of vanilla Minecraft you intend to use if you haven't already If you haven't run the version of Minecraft you'd like to mod before, you will need to do so. This is to ensure that all the vanilla Minecraft files associated with that version are downloaded and available. Without them, the ViveCraft mod will not be able to install correctly, if at all! 2. Close the game after it fully installs and boots 3. Download the ViveCraft installer for your desired Minecraft Version from this page If there is not a standalone client version of ViveCraft available for your desired version of Minecraft, you can install the Forge mod version as a client mod using your preferred Forge launcher. 4. Download the VR installer.jar file 5. Run the ViveCraft installer and customize your installation options Feel free to customize your ViveCraft installation options. If you plan on using Forge mods alongside ViveCraft, you should enable the "Install Vivecraft with Forge" option. Additionally, you should consider allocating more RAM to your game if you have it to spare. 6. Click the Install button at the bottom 7. How to Install Sponge Plugins

By default, the Forge server type only supports mods and cannot run plugins. However, the SpongeAPI makes it possible to use plugins in Forge servers through the SpongeForge mod. Bukkit and Spigot plugins will NOT work on Forge servers with Sponge unless explicitly stated on the plugin page. It is highly recommended to only install plugins downloaded from the official Sponge Ore website. --- Installing Sponge Plugins 1. Download the plugins you wish to install from Ore. You can find Ore, the official Sponge Plugins Repository at https://ore.spongepowered.org/ ::ProseNote{title="Important Reminder" description="Make sure that the plugins you download are compatible with the SpongeForge version installed on your server. This can be useful for some servers as it allows for even greater flexibility and features on your server, although, it introduces new limitations and potential complications. How to Install Shaders onto your Minecraft Client using OptiFine

Shaders modify the way the game looks without affecting other people, usually by adding more realistic animations and textures to Minecraft. Most shaders accomplish this by sending rays of light through blocks to create realistic effects on the world. Generally, the easiest (and most popular) way to install shaders is with the use of OptiFine; a mod for Minecraft that optimizes the game to allow faster rendering and provide more FPS. You can read more about OptiFine on their website. --- Installing Shaders with OptiFine After downloading your preferred shader pack, you must install the OptiFine mod. You'll then be able to use your newly downloaded shader pack in Minecraft. If you do not have a shader pack already installed, you can find and download one from a Minecraft community resource website like this one. 1. Download the OptiFine installer from their official website and run it. When running the installer, make sure the install folder matches Minecraft’s location on your computer before clicking Install. 2. Open the Minecraft launcher and make sure you have the new OptiFine profile selected, then click Play. 3. In-game, navigate to to view your shader settings. 4. Open the Shaders Folder and move your desired shader pack(s) into it. 5. Select your desired shader pack by double-clicking it. After the shader pack loads in, you will be able to exit your pause menu and go back into the game. Your shader pack will now be active and ready to go!

The goal of Oculus is to provide the optimizations and features of Iris to the Forge modding community. --- Installing Shaders with Oculus After downloading your preferred shader pack, you must install the Oculus mod. You'll then be able to use your newly downloaded shader pack in Minecraft. For this example, we will be using the CurseForge app to install the Oculus mod. If you do not have a shader pack already installed, you can find and download one from this website. 1. Navigate to the Oculus mod's CurseForge page here. 2. Click Install and launch your CurseForge app. 3. Either Create a new profile or Select an existing one to install Oculus onto. 4. After installation completes, hover over your profile and click Play. 5. In-game, navigate to Options Video Settings Shader Packs... 6. Open the Shaders Folder, and move your desired shader pack into it. 7. Enable shaders and select the shader pack you just added, and click Apply. That's it! After the game loads up your shader pack, you will be able to use it in-game.
