How to Change Your Minecraft Skin
Changing your Minecraft skin is a fun way to breathe a little life into your Minecraft experience and give your character a personal touch, and it's super easy to do. Locate a skin you wish to use and download the image to your PC. 2. Open the Minecraft Launcher and navigate to the Skins tab. 3. Click New Skin and upload the image file. 4. Select the Classic or Slim model size. Usually, the place you download your skin from will tell you which skin style it is (Classic or Slim). If you are unsure, just check the width of the skin's arms: if they are 3 pixels wide, it is a slim skin, while 4 pixels wide arms are a classic skin. 5. Click Save and Use. --- Changing Your Skin Through the Minecraft Website You can easily upload a skin through the Minecraft website, but it is not the best method. How to Change your Minecraft Servers Player Slots
Every Minecraft server has adjustable slots, allowing server owners to set the number of players allowed to connect at one time. Too many online players can cause lag on your server, so having a reasonable player limit can be very beneficial to keeping lag down. --- Changing Player Slots You can edit players' slots directly on your control panel; however, the value cannot exceed your purchased plan's maximum. 1. Access your Control Panel and Shut Down your server. 2. Click players online, under your server name. 3. Set the maximum players you would like, then click update. 4. Start your server to apply the changes.

Give your new Server Instance a Name and Short Description. 6. Review your new Server Instance, then click Finish. --- Swapping Server Instances After creating a new Server Instance with your desired server type installed, you will need to change your active instance in order to use it. 1. Open your server's Control Panel. 2. Click the Instances tab on the left-hand sidebar. 3. Click the Switch button next to your desired Server Instance to begin the transition. 4. Confirm the switch over to the new Server Instance, then wait for the process to complete. That's it! Once your server is back up, it will be running on your new instance.
How to Change your Minecraft Gamemode
There are a handful of different gamemodes available when playing Minecraft. As a server owner, you can change what the default gamemode should be for your server, and you can also adjust your gamemode on the fly with commands. --- Available Gamemodes (Default) - In this mode, players have to gather all their materials to build, craft items and tools and gain experience points. Players also have a health and hunger bar that they have to manage, creating a true survival experience. - The player has access to an infinite amount of almost all blocks and items available, and can destroy them instantly. Players are invulnerable and can also fly. - Players can interact with objects such as levers and buttons, and can interact with mobs. However, they can break blocks only with tools having a data tag, and place blocks only if the block they are holding has a data tag, making this mode good for adventure maps. (Java Only) - In this mode, which plays in the same way as Survival mode, the difficulty level is permanently set to "Hard", and when the player dies, they are sent permanently into spectator mode. Enabling this for your players is a slightly different process, and a related article on how to do that can be found here. - When in spectator mode, players can clip through blocks, enter the perspective of other entities by left-clicking on them, and are invisible to all players and mobs except for other spectators. The player can't interact with blocks, entities or their inventory. When in third-person mode, they look like a transparent, floating head with no body. The player can use the scroll wheel to adjust the speed at which they are flying, unlike flying in Creative mode. --- Changing the Default Gamemode By default, new players will be in survival mode when they join the server; however, you can change which gamemode will be applied in your server settings. 1. Access your server's Control Panel and navigate to the Config tab. 2. Click the file. 3. Locate and use the dropdown to change to your desired gamemode. 4. How to Change the Spawn Protection on a Minecraft Server
Spawn protection protects the area where players initially join your Minecraft server's world, preventing block destruction. If your server has operators, or "ops," only they can break blocks in the protected zone. --- Configuring your Server's Spawn Protection You may wish to change the default spawn protection behaviour for your Minecraft server. You can decrease, increase, or effectively disable the protected area using your server's configuration options. 1. Access your server's Control Panel and navigate to the Config tab. 2. Click the file. 3. Modify the spawn-protection field to your desired value. You can change the spawn protection to any number value. Setting the spawn-protection field to will effectively disable spawn protection entirely, although one singular block will remain protected. 4. Save the file, and restart your server. That's it!
