
How to Add a Moderator to Your Necesse Server
Moderators in Necesse have access to a small set of basic commands that let them handle simple server tasks. These include checking who’s online, kicking players if needed, using the /say command to announce messages, and a few other minor tools.

#Moderator Permissions

| /players | Lists players currently online |
| /playernames | Lists all authentications and their names |
| /levels | Lists currently loaded levels |

| /kick | Kicks player from the server |
| /say | Talks in the chat as Server |
#Granting Moderator Permissions
Players can be granted Moderator with the Console in the control panel, or by the server Owner in-game.
Assigning a Moderator via Console

Open your Server Control Panel.

Start your server and wait for it to go Online.

Navigate to the Console and enter
/permissions set PlayerName moderator, replacingPlayerNamewith the character name of the new Moderator.
If the command returns with the error "Could not find player with name", run the command again while the player is connected to the server.
Assigning a Moderator as Owner

Connect to your server as an Owner.

Press
ENTERto open the Chat box. -
Enter
/permissions set PlayerName moderator, replacingPlayerNamewith the character name of the new Moderator.
If the command returns with the error "Could not find player with name", run the command again while the player is connected to the server.
