
How To Configure Your Enshrouded Server
Enshrouded dedicated servers come with the ability to customize a few settings. Although there are currently few configuration options, more may be added in the future by the game developer.
#Accessing Server Settings
You can configure many Enshrouded game settings from your Enshrouded Server Settings file, found on your server's control panel.

Access your Control Panel and Stop your server.

Navigate to the Config tab.

Click and Open the Enshrouded Server Settings.
#Available Configuration Settings
Once you have access to your server settings, you can make any required changes. The table below lists all the available server settings.
Make sure after you change any settings, you Save your changes and Start the server.

| Steam Updates | Enable or disable automatic Steam updates and file validation on server startup. |
| Server Password | Sets a password to connect to your server. |
| Server Name | Sets the name on the server browser list. |
| Server Directory | Defines where the server stores all world and player save data. Change this to organize or separate different worlds. |
| Enable Voice Chat | This setting allows turning voice chat completely off or enabling it. |
| Voice Chat Mode | This setting allows switching between the proximity voice chat and the global, server-wide voice chat. |
| Enable Text Chat | This setting allows switching text chat completely off or enabling it. |
| Game Settings Preset | The preset to use for the game server settings. |
For the Game Setting Preset, this can be set via the dropdown to: Default, Relaxed, Hard, Survival or Custom
If you select Custom, you will gain access to a larger variety of configuration options. To really tailor your Enshrouded experience to your preference.
