How to Join your Avorion Server

Getting started is simple! You can either join your server via your IP and Port, or by searching for your Server Name. Once that's done, launch the game, head to Multiplayer, and use the in-game server browser to search for our server. Find us in the list, click connect, and you'll be ready to explore the galaxy with us!

Note

To locate your server via the in-game server list, your server will need to have a Server Name set in your Config settings. Please see our guide that explains How to Change the Name and Description of your Galaxy on your Avorion Server before proceeding with the next steps.

#How to find your server IP address

To find the IP address of your server, you will need to log in to your control panel. Once you’ve logged into your control panel, copy your server IP and port.

#Joining via the In-Game Server List

  1. Open Avorion and select Multiplayer. Select Browse Servers.

  2. Search for your Server's Name by typing it in the box at the bottom left-side of the page.

  3. Select your server and click Join.

  4. (Optional) If your server has a password, enter your password when prompted and click Join.

#Joining via IP

Alternatively, you can direct connect to your server by following these steps:

  1. Open Avorion and select Multiplayer. Select Join via IP.

  2. Enter your server's IP and Port in the designated field.

  3. Click Join.

  4. (Optional) If your server has a password, enter your password when prompted and click Join.
