How To Upload Custom Maps To Your Trackmania Server

Adding custom maps to your Trackmania server is one of the best ways to keep your community engaged and your races exciting. Uploading new tracks gives players a constant flow of challenges, environments, and creative layouts to enjoy — helping your server stand out and stay active.

#Uploading Custom Maps to Your Trackmania Server

1. Download the map file you want to use. Trackmania maps use the .Gbx format.

   • Before uploading, it’s a good idea to test the map locally in Trackmania to make sure it loads correctly.

2. Access your control panel.

3. Stop your server to safely upload files.

4. Go to the Files tab on your panel.

5. Navigate to the following folder:
   /UserData/Maps

6. Inside this folder, you’ll see subfolders like Campaigns or Downloaded. You can upload maps into one of these or create a new folder to organize your tracks.

7. Click Upload and select your .Gbx file(s) to add your new map(s) to the server.

8. Once the upload is complete, open your Match Settings file and add the map’s path so it appears in rotation.

9. Start your server to apply the changes.

Your new custom maps will now be available for players to race on through your Trackmania server.
