Want to assign admin privileges to a trusted player on your RedM server? Whether it's for moderation, configuration, or helping you manage day-to-day gameplay, adding admins is simple using txAdmin.
This guide will walk you through how to grant admin access and manage existing admins with ease.
# Add an Admin to your RedM Server
- Open your Shockbyte Control Panel.
- Launch txAdmin.
- Go to the Admins tab in the sidebar.
- Click Add to bring up the admin setup window:
- Enter the username of the person you want to promote.
- You can also include their Cfx.re ID and/or Discord ID (optional).
- Choose which permissions you want to grant by ticking the appropriate boxes.
- Click Save when you're done.
- After saving, txAdmin will generate a temporary password for the new admin. Make sure to copy it and share it securely so they can log in.
# Editing or Removing Admins
Need to update an admin’s permissions or remove someone from your team? Here’s how:
- Open your Shockbyte Control Panel.
- Launch txAdmin.
- Go to the Admins tab.
- Find the admin you want to edit or remove, then click the appropriate action (edit or delete).
