How to add Admins to your RedM Server

Want to assign admin privileges to a trusted player on your RedM server? Whether it's for moderation, configuration, or helping you manage day-to-day gameplay, adding admins is simple using txAdmin.

This guide will walk you through how to grant admin access and manage existing admins with ease.

# Add an Admin to your RedM Server

1. Open your Shockbyte Control Panel.
2. Launch txAdmin.
3. Go to the Admins tab in the sidebar.
4. Click Add to bring up the admin setup window:
   1. Enter the username of the person you want to promote.
   2. You can also include their Cfx.re ID and/or Discord ID (optional).
   3. Choose which permissions you want to grant by ticking the appropriate boxes.
   4. Click Save when you're done.
5. After saving, txAdmin will generate a temporary password for the new admin. Make sure to copy it and share it securely so they can log in.

# Editing or Removing Admins

Need to update an admin’s permissions or remove someone from your team? Here’s how:

1. Open your Shockbyte Control Panel.
2. Launch txAdmin.
3. Go to the Admins tab.
4. Find the admin you want to edit or remove, then click the appropriate action (edit or delete).
