By default, Abiotic Factor does not respawn loot. Enabling loot respawns allows items to periodically reappear throughout the Facility, making it easier for players to gather resources over time.
This setting is particularly useful for long-term servers where resources may otherwise become scarce.
# Enabling Loot Respawns
Loot respawns can be enabled by modifying the SandboxSettings.ini file in your server’s configuration.
- Navigate to the Shockbyte Panel.
- Click Files.
- Navigate to
AbioticFactor/Saved/SaveGames/Server/Worlds/<Your Save Name>
- Click SandboxSettings.ini.
- Locate the LootRespawnEnabled option and set it to
True.
- Click Save and Restart your server.
