# Adding a Password to your Server

You can change your server password in the serverDZ.cfg file.

1. Access your Control Panel and Stop the server.
2. Navigate to the Files tab.
3. Locate and Open the serverDZ.cfg file.
4. Set your desired password in the setting password = "";.
5. Click Save and Restart your server.
