How to Pause your Necesse Server when no Players are Online

Necesse owners often find it beneficial to enable automatic pausing on their server. This pauses the server progress when it detects that no players are online. For example, having pausing enabled prevents NPCs from dying to hostile mobs while no players are online.

#Enabling Automatic Pausing

1. Open your Server Control Panel.

2. Navigate to Config and open Necesse Server Settings.

3. Locate Pause When Empty and set it to Enabled.

4. Save the file and Restart your server.
