How To Set Yourself As An Owner On Your Astroneer server

An Astroneer server Owner has access to a range of administration options such as adding players to the whitelist of the server, enabling creative mode, setting a password and tons more. All of this can be done by the Owner while in-game, although changes such as a set password will only remain until the server is restarted. If you wish to make permanent changes, you will need to do this in your server's Astroneer Server Settings file.

#Setting a Server Owner

A server owner can be set in your server's control panel.

1. Navigate to your Control Panel and Stop your server.

2. Click on Files.

3. Navigate to /Astro/Saved/Config\/WindowsServer/ and open AstroServerSettings.ini.

4. Enter your Steam Name after OwnerName=.

5. Click Save and Start your server.

6. Join your server with the Steam name you entered in step 4.
