How To Set Yourself As An Owner On Your Astroneer server

An Astroneer server Owner has access to a range of administration options such as adding players to the whitelist of the server, enabling creative mode, setting a password and tons more. All of this can be done by the Owner while in-game, although changes such as a set password will only remain until the server is restarted. If you wish to make permanent changes, you will need to do this in your server's Astroneer Server Settings file. --- Setting a Server Owner A server owner can be set in your server's control panel. 1. There may come a time when you want to start over in a brand new world. Thankfully, resetting your server world is incredibly easy. You can choose to either delete your existing world or simply create a new one, which is useful if you ever want to return to your old world. --- Changing your Server World If you just want to change your world, rather than deleting it entirely, this can be done easily using your server's Astroneer Server Settings file. 1. How To Enable A Whitelist On Your Astroneer server

Astroneer is a very cooperative PvE game, where working closely with fellow players is key to exploring the world around you. As a result, you may want to secure your server to only allow people you trust to join it. Enabling a whitelist will stop uninvited players from joining your server. To enable a whitelist and add players to it, you will need to be the server's owner. --- Enabling a Whitelist Your server's whitelist can be enabled while in-game by using the Server Admin menu. 1. Press to open the in-game menu. 2. Click the Server Admin icon. 3. Check the Allow Only Whitelisted Players To Join box.
