An Astroneer server Owner has access to a range of administration options such as adding players to the whitelist of the server, enabling creative mode, setting a password and tons more. All of this can be done by the Owner while in-game, although changes such as a set password will only remain until the server is restarted. If you wish to make permanent changes, you will need to do this in your server's Astroneer Server Settings file. --- Setting a Server Owner A server owner can be set in your server's control panel. 1. As a result, you may want to secure your server to only allow people you trust to join it. Enabling a whitelist will stop uninvited players from joining your server. To enable a whitelist and add players to it, you will need to be the server's owner. --- Enabling a Whitelist Your server's whitelist can be enabled while in-game by using the Server Admin menu. 1.
