How to Increase Engram Points Per Level on your ARK Server
Engram points, which can be earned by levelling up your survivor, are used to permanently unlock crafting recipes for your character in ARK: Survival Evolved. In Multiplayer, a survivor cannot earn enough Engram points (in 155 levels) to unlock every crafting recipe; therefore, it may be beneficial for a server owner to increase the amount of Engram points a player earns each level. Increasing Engram Points You can override the Engram Points earned for each level by editing your server's Game.ini file, but you must do this for each level. 1. How to Find Your Tribe or Player ID
Finding a tribe or player ID on your ARK: Survival Evolved server is needed for many admin commands to work properly. These IDs are not your Steam ID, but a unique string of numbers assigned to each player and tribe in the game. Finding the ID numbers requires the use of in-game admin commands, so you will need to make sure to set a server admin password and enable cheats on your character beforehand. --- Finding your Tribe ID Open the in-game command window by pressing tab, and enter the following command: or If entered correctly, the command should open up a special HUD that shows you more in-depth information about your server. With the HUD enabled, find and look at any structure that belongs to the desired tribe. There will be a Team number towards the bottom of the screen, which is the official ID for that tribe. Be sure to write down this number for future reference. How to Enable Gamma on your ARK Server
Gamma is a visual setting used to alter the brightness of your ARK game. By default, gamma changes are disabled on Ark servers. Server owners can alter their server settings to allow players to set their own gamma levels making it easier to see on dark days/nights. --- Enabling Gamma You can enable the Gamma setting in your GameUserSettings.ini file, found on your server's control panel. 1. Access your control panel and Stop your server. 2. Navigate to Config. 3. Click on ARK Game Settings, and open the file in the editor. 4. Under \[ServerSettings\], insert the following options.
