How to Launch SMAPI Using Steam for Stardew Valley
To play Stardew Valley with mods, you are required to boot SMAPI with either Steam, Xbox App, or GOG Galaxy. --- Launching SMAPI with Steam You can do this with Steam by changing the launch options. 1. Complete the SMAPI installation. 2. Copy the Steam Launch Options in the installer. 3. Open the Steam client. 4. Locate Stardew Valley, right-click it and open Properties. 5. Navigate to the General tab. 6. How to Add Mods to your Stardew Valley Server
There is a large variety of mods available for Stardew Valley ranging from new characters and crops to gameplay overhauls. These mods can easily be installed on your server by uploading them to the mods folder. Most Stardew Valley mods are available for download on Nexus Mods. You can find the most popular mods here. --- Installing Mods to your Server Stardew Valley mods downloaded from Nexus Mods come in a .zip file. Inside this folder is a .dll, a .pdb file and often config files. To install a mod you will need to extract the mods .zip file and upload the entire folder to your server's mod folder. 1. Getting Started With Your Stardew Valley Server
Before joining your new Stardew Valley server for the first time, it is important to make sure that all your farm’s settings are configured how you'd like. Making future changes will require you to either manually edit the save file or start a new save. --- Getting Started 1. Open your Control Panel. 2. Stop your server and wait for it to go offline. 3. Navigate to Config and open Stardew Valley Farm Settings. 4. Locate Farm Name and set a new name for your farm. This is required for the next changes to take effect.
