# How are your servers so cheap?
We work on a different business model than most hosts - we have very small margins, however we operate on a much larger scale. We make a profit by selling a large amount of servers for a smaller price, rather than fewer servers for a higher price. Additionally, we lease our servers in bulk and for a long period of time, which allows our expenses to be discounted.
# How does the IP look, and can I get a custom IP from Shockbyte?
By default, the IP will be in the format of a regular IP (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port). The port at the end can be removed by ordering a Dedicated IP. It is possible to create a free subdomain for your server at our Subdomain Creator.
# Are there any coupon codes available?
Because our pricing is already extremely low, we don't frequently run sales. However, you can keep up to date with any coupon codes on our Twitter.
# What payment methods do you accept?
Currently we only accept payments via PayPal, Paymentwall, and Credit/Debit Card. For more information, please check our FAQ page.
