How to Download and Play on your Minecraft Bedrock Server World

If you want to use your Minecraft server world in single-player, as a backup, or to use it on another server, you will first need to download your world from your server. This guide will assist you with both downloading a copy of your world as well as loading it in your game so you can play it. ::ProseNote{title="Note" description="This method of downloading worlds only works for transferring from a Vanilla Bedrock server to a PC/Laptop. Access your Control Panel and Shut Down your server. 2. Navigate to the Files tab. 3. Open the \worlds folder. 4. Click the three dots on your world folder, then click Download Folder. --- Using your World in Singleplayer If you would like to use the server world you just downloaded in singleplayer, you can upload it to your singleplayer worlds directory by following these steps. 1. Press to open the Windows Run program. 2. Paste the string into the Run window and then click OK. Entering this directory path using Windows Run should automatically open your Minecraft Bedrock worlds directory. If, for whatever reason, this doesn't work in your case, feel free to browse YouTube or Google for steps on locating your Bedrock worlds directory. 3. Locate the new world folder you just generated. The folders in the directory you opened are named with random characters, which is normal. To find a specific world, you can either sort the folders by "Date Modified" to have the most recently played world appear at the top, or open each folder and read the file inside to see the world's exact name. Sorting by date is quicker, but reading the text files provides precise world names. 4. Return to the server world you downloaded, and unzip it. 5. Open the unzipped folder, then move the world folder to your local worlds directory. Make sure the world folder you move is not a layered folder. For example, make sure you are just uploading a folder named not . 6. Launch Minecraft Windows Edition, navigate to your singleplayer worlds, then launch your newly added world. How to Convert Minecraft Worlds from Bedrock Edition to Java Edition

Je2be is a software that allows Minecraft worlds to be converted to support different platforms. When provided with a directory that contains the level.dat file, you can switch worlds from Java, Bedrock, and Xbox360 versions of Minecraft. For example, this could be great for those who were playing Bedrock Minecraft but are transitioning to Java Minecraft and would like to continue their previous world from Bedrock. Without a tool such as Je2be, it wouldn't be possible to move worlds around to other versions of Minecraft. --- Accessing World Files In order to use Je2be, you will need to have the directories that store your files. The specific directory you need may vary depending on the version of Minecraft from which you intend to convert the world file Java Minecraft - Bedrock Minecraft - Once at these file locations, you will need the folders of the save file you wish to convert. We would suggest copying these folders and creating a backup in a safe place on your PC. --- Converting a Java World to Bedrock with Je2Be Once you have access to your save files, you can now use Je2Be to convert your worlds. 1. Access the Je2Be webpage app. 2. Navigate to Java to Bedrock Select Directory. 3. With the directory pop-up, navigate to your Java Minecraft saves folder and select the save you wish to convert. 4. How to Add Mobs to a Minecraft Bedrock Server

Mojang's official Vanilla Minecraft server software for Bedrock Edition, known as Bedrock Dedicated Servers, inherently supports mobs. However, mob spawning features are not currently available in PocketMine-MP and NukkitX. To enable mobs on these server types, it's necessary to install a plugin. --- Add Mobs to a PocketMine-MP Server You will be required to install PureEntitiesX on your PocketMine-MP server. 1. Download the PureEntitiesX plugin by clicking on the Direct Download button found on the PureEntitiesX page. 2. Access your Control Panel and Shut Down your server. 3. Click Files, and open the Plugins folder. 4. Click Upload File(s), and upload . 5. How to Add a Resource Pack to your Minecraft Bedrock Server

Resource packs allow you to customize textures, font styles, sounds, models, interface and other things for Minecraft. These resources are also compatible with servers, so that everyone who joins your server will be able to use your custom resource pack.
