How to Join your Counter Strike: Source Server

Once you have your Counter Strike: Source server configured the way you want it, you're ready to join. While it is possible to join a server using the in-game server browser, it can be inconsistent and doesn't always list all available servers. This is why we recommend adding your server to your favourites list.

Obtaining Server Information

In order to add a server to your favourites you'll be required to know its IP and port. You'll find the required information from your server's control panel.

The IP Address can be found on the home page of the control panel.

Adding a Server to your Favourites

Once you have your server's IP you will be able to join after adding the server to your favourites.

  1. Open Counter Strike: Source and click Find Servers.
  2. Click Favorites.
  3. Click Add a Server.
  4. Enter your Server IP then click Add this address to favorites.
  5. Select your server then click Connect.
