How to Make Your Enshrouded Server Private

Some server owners may wish to restrict access to their server and make it private. Luckily, Enshrouded dedicated servers allow you to define a server password, which you can then share with the players you would like to have access to your server.

Configuring a Server Password

To set up a server password, you simply need to define it in your Enshrouded Server Settings then restart.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate Files > Config files.
  3. Click Enshrouded Server Settings.
  4. Locate the Password option, and set your server password.
  5. Save and Start your server.

The next time you try to connect to your server, you will be prompted to enter the configured password before you can login, effectively making your server private.
