How to Allow Bedrock Breaking, TNT Duping, and Other Exploits in PaperMC Servers

PaperMC fixes many exploits in Vanilla Minecraft such as TNT duping, bedrock breaking, and headless pistons.

You can enable these exploits in your server by following the steps below:

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.

  3. Open PaperMC Config.

  4. Locate the setting unsupported-settings.

  5. Change the settings as you desire:
    1. If you want to dupe TNT, carpets, and other items: allow-piston-duplication: true;
    2. If you want to break bedrock, portal frames, and other unbreakable blocks: allow-perm-block-break-exploits: true;
    3. If you want to create headless pistons or have exploits that require them: allow-headless-pistons: true;
    4. If you want to enable usernames with special characters: perform-username-validation: false.
  6. Click Save at the bottom and Start your server.
Note: Be careful with changing the setting perform-username-validation as some usernames with special characters might cause some plugins to break.

You can now use exploits in your PaperMC server! You can also change other settings in PaperMC Config to optimize your server and reduce lag.
