How to Upload a World to your Core Keeper Server

If you have a pre-existing world from singleplayer, you can upload it to your Core Keeper server to play it in multiplayer.

  1. Log in to your server control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Access your server files with an FTP client.
  3. In your server's file directory, navigate to .config/unity3d/Pugstorm/Core Keeper/DedicatedServer/worlds.
  4. On your PC, navigate to C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper\Steam\{STEAM_ID}\worlds to find your local Core Keeper worlds.
  5. Choose the world you want to upload. You can identify worlds using the number prefixing the file name.
  6. Upload your desired world to your server by dragging the world file into your FTP client.
  7. Once the transfer is finished, return to your control panel and navigate to Files > Config Files > Core Keeper Server Settings.
  8. Set the world field to the number that prefixes the uploaded world name. For example, if you uploaded 2.world.gzip, you should set the value to world=2
  9. Click Save.
  10. Start your server to play your uploaded world!

That’s it! Now that you’ve uploaded your world, you may be interested in our guide on setting up admins on your Core Keeper server.
