Giving admin to players allows them to kick and ban players, or use other admin commands.
Note: If you used your Cluster Token to activate the server then you will be automatically set as admin.
How To Find Your Klei User ID
A Klei User ID is unique to all players and necessary for you to add players to your admin list.
- Open Don't Starve Together
- Click the Account Icon, this will open a Steam Overlay.
- Via the Steam overlay, locate your Klei User ID under User Info.
Players can now provide you with the Klei User ID so you can add them to the admin list.
How To Give Admin Permissions To Players
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > FTP File Access, log in with your Multicraft password.
- Navigate to
/config/<cluster-name>/, and create a file namedadminlist.txt. - Edit the file and add the player(s) Klei User ID, one per line.
- Save and Restart your server.
