There may come a time when you want to start over on a brand new world. Thankfully, resetting your server world is incredibly easy. You can choose to either delete your existing world or simply create a new one, which is useful if you ever want to return to your old world.
Changing your Server World
If you just want to change your world, rather than deleting it entirely this can be done easily using your server's Astroneer Server Settings file.
- Access your control panel.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click Astroneer Server Settings.
- Enter a new world name in the Active Save field.
- Click Save and Start the server.
Deleting your Server World
If you never plan on revisiting your old world you can delete it using your server's web-based FTP client.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Click Files > FTP File Access.
. - Navigate to
/Astro/Saved/SavedGames/
. - Select the
.savegame
file then click Delete. - Click Submit then Start the server.
