How to Enable the Developer Console in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2 & ATS)

The Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator developer console is a useful tool for truck simulator owners. By default, the developer console is not enabled within the game's configuration. That being said, it is required to enable the developer console for some processes such as installing mods on servers.

How to Enable the Developer Console

The developer console can be enabled in Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator by editing the game's config file on your computer. For this example, we will be enabling the developer console for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
