There are a range of available settings that are configurable for your Arma 3 server. These settings are split into two files. The first is your server's Arma 3 Server Settings file which includes more common options such as your server's name, admin password, server password, ect.
More advanced server configuration options can be found in the server.cfg file. For more details on how to configure your server.cfg, please refer to this wiki page.
Accessing your Server Settings
Your primary server settings can be updated in the Arma 3 Server Settings section of your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click Arma 3 Server Settings.
Configuring your Server Settings
Once you have access to your server settings, you can make any required changes. The table below lists all of the available server settings.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Automatic Steam Updates | Determine whether to automatically update the game files via Steam on server startup. It is recommended to keep this setting set to enabled. |
Steam Beta | Enter any desired Steam beta codes here. Leave this empty if you are not intending to play using an Arma 3 public Steam beta build. |
Profile | Configure the name of your Arma 3 server's active server profile. |
Server Name | Sets the name on the server displayed on the in-game Arma 3 server browser. |
Max Players | Set to your desired player limit. |
Server Password | Sets a password to connect to your server. |
Admin Password | Sets a password allowing players to become an admin. |
Mod List | List of Steam Workshop mod IDs to install on server startup, separated by \; |
