If you would like to have a fresh start on your Necesse server you can either completely reset your server, generate a new world, or reset player data.
Warning: After deleting files they will be unrecoverable, we highly recommend you create a backup before resetting your server.
Resetting the Entire Server
To delete all server files you will simply need to create a directory named DANGER_DELETE_ALL and move your files to it.
- Navigate to your control panel and Stop your server.
- Access your server files via FTP, we recommend using Filezilla.
- Create a new directory called
DANGER_DELETE_ALL.
- Move all your server files into the
DANGER_DELETE_ALLfolder.
- Start your server.
Resetting Player Data
If you'd like to retain your server data but reset a specific player/all players, you can delete the relevant player's data files.
- Navigate to your control panel and Stop your server.
- Access your server files via FTP, we recommend using Filezilla.
- Navigate to
/saves/<WORLD NAME>/players/.
- Delete the files containing the Steam ID of the target player.
- Start your server.
