Frequently asked questions

How do I use a Shockbyte gift card?

If you received a Shockbyte Gift Card, simply follow these steps to redeem:

  1. Go to shockbyte.com/redeem.
  2. Log in to or create a Shockbyte account.
  3. Enter the redemption code shown on the gift card.

Once successfully redeemed, this will be added to your account's credit balance.

Where will the balance go when I redeem my Gift Card?

Once redeemed, the balance of the gift card will be credited to your Shockbyte account and can then be used to pay for servers and addon orders, or renewal of existing services.

Do I have to pay for a Shockbyte Gift Card every month?

You only have to pay for the Gift Card you order once and does not entail any recurring or extra fees.

Will my gift card expire if I don't give it to anyone?

Shockbyte Gift Cards will expire 12 months after the purchase date.

Will the receiver get the exact amount shown on the gift card?

If the default currency of the receiver's Shockbyte account is the same currency that was used to purchase the gift card (e.g. USD to USD), they will receive the exact amount. However, if someone receives a gift card with a different currency than what's set on their account (e.g. USD to EUR), this will be subject to currency conversion.

If I receive a Shockbyte Gift Card, can I withdraw it to my PayPal or bank account?

Shockbyte Gift Cards cannot be withdrawn and also non-refundable. These can only be used for payments and purchases within Shockbyte.
