How To Configure Your HumanitZ Server

A key feature of HumanitZ dedicated servers is the level of configuration offered for many of the game features. Allowing server owners to completely customise their experience.

Important

Before making any changes to your server config, ensure that you Stop your server & Start it once the change has been made.

# Accessing your HumanitZ Server Settings

Your primary server settings can easily be accessed using the HumanitZ Server Settings file located on the config page in your server's control panel.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Config.

# Configuring your Server Settings

Once you have access to your server settings, you can make any required changes. The table below lists all the available server settings.

Server NameThe server name to show in the server list
Admin PasswordThe password used by admins to grant themselves admin permissions in-game.
PasswordSets a password to connect to your server.
Save NameThe name of the save file you would like your server to use.
ZombieAmountMultiRaise or lower the global zombie limit (Warning, increasing this can impact performance). For example, setting this to 1.2 will result in 20% more zombies than default.

Enable Multiplayer Sleep- 0 - Passing time by sleeping is disabled (Default)

- 0 - Very Easy
- 1 - Easy
- 2 - Default
- 3 - Hard
- 4 - Very Hard
- 5 - Nightmare
Loot RarityThe scale of loot rarity.
- 0 - Scarce
- 1 - Low
- 2 - Default
- 3 - Plentiful
- 4 - Abundant
Loot Respawn MinutesThe amount of time (In seconds) that it should take for loot to respawn (Default is 60).
ZombieRespawnTimerHow long (in minutes) it should take for a zombie to respawn. (Default is 60)

Lose On DeathWhat should happen to a player's inventory when they die.
- 0 - Only lose backpack and the weapon in hand
- 1 - All previous, along with pockets
- 2 - All previous, along with all equipment (Default)
Weapon Break- 0 - Only improvised weapons break at 0% durability (Default)
- 1 - Weapons break when reaching 0% durability, except a crowbar
RecruitDogEnable or disable the ability for players to recruit dog companions.
- 0 - Disabled
- 1 - Enabled (Default)
Territory
Permanent DeathSets what level of permanent death difficulty your server should use.
- 0 - Off (No perma-death)
- 1 - Individual
- 2 - All
It's recommended public servers stay at 0.
No Death Feedback
ZombieDiffHealthThe difficulty level of zombie health.
- 0 - Very Easy
- 1 - Easy
- 2 - Default
- 3 - Hard
- 4 - Very Hard
- 5 - Nightmare
Food Decay
Enable Air Drop EventsEnable or disable air drop events.
- 0 - Disabled
- 1 - Enabled (Default)
Enable Eagle Eye SkillEnable or disable the eagle eye skill.
- 0 - Disabled
- 1 - Enabled (Default)
Respawn Pickup Seconds
VitalDrainHow fast your vitals drain.
- 0 - Slow
- 1 - Normal
- 2 - Fast
Respawn Clears Infection- 0 - Respawning does not rid you of the infection
- 1 - You lose the infection upon respawning
AnimalRespawnTimerHow long (in minutes) it should take for a animal to respawn after dying. (Default is 60)
AirDropIntervalThe amount of days to wait between air drop events (Default is 3).
HumanRespawnTimerHow long (in minutes) it should take for a human to respawn after dying. (Default is 60)
