By default, dog companions are disabled on all HumanitZ dedicated servers. However, server owners can easily enable the feature, and customise it to their liking using their server configuration.
# Configuring Dog Companions
You can enable, and customise the dog companion feature using the HumanitZ Server Settings file in your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Config.
- Click HumanitZ Settings.
- Search for all settings related to the Dog Companion.
- Enter your desired value in the DogEnabled field.
0 - Disabled (Default)1 - Enabled
- Enter your desired value in the DogNum field (Default: 8).
- Enter your desired value in the RecruitDog field. Disabling this will remove the ability for players to recruit dogs they may find.
0 - Disabled1 - Enabled (Default)
- Start your server.
