# Joining via Public World list
If your Aloft server is set to public, you can easily find and join it through the world list. To ensure you are able to locate the server, double-check that the server region matches your server’s location and adjust the filters as needed. If you need to transfer your server, we have a guide on this available here.
You can also update your server name in the config tab to make it easier to identify. You can view a guide on how to do this here.
