If for whatever reason, you wish to start fresh on a character - then you may wish to delete it, so you can start over with a new character of the same name.
Important
Deleting your Valheim Character is permanent and cannot be undone. Remember that your inventory and skills are stored in your character; so if you delete it, all of that will be lost!
# How to Delete your Valheim Character
- Launch the game, and click Start Game.
- On the Character Selection Screen, select the Character you wish to delete.
- At the bottom right of the page, click Remove.
- Click Yes when the Remove Character confirmation screen appears.
You can now go ahead and create a new Valheim Character with the same name if you wish to do so.
